This event is your ultimate gateway to West Coast Swing and it's coming back for 2026!
Even if you're starting from zero experience, you'll leave feeling like a dance hero.
With over 5 hours of dedicated workshops, access to exciting parties, and captivating shows, it's a weekend packed with opportunities to learn and connect.
Feeling adventurous? On Sunday, you can compete in the Newcomer division, experiencing the thrill of a "random song, random partner" moment. Plus, you'll have a social lead by your side to guide you through the fun and ensure you make the most of the weekend. By the end, you'll walk away not just with new moves but as a valued member of the vibrant West Coast Swing community.

Your Social Lead
This is Vicky, she is your social lead throughout the weekend and will be there to help you navigate your journey into west coast swing as well as your first west coast swing event. I promise we are a friendly bunch who are just excited that you have chosen to learn West Coast Swing.

What to Expect when you arrive. BASED ON 2025 schedule - will be updated soon.
It can be a little overwhelming arriving to a big event, so we have lots of people who will be joining Vicky to make you feel welcome and make things as easy as possible.
Friday
3.00pm - 4.30pm | Hotel Check-In and Event Registration. Get into your room if you are staying at the hotel, and pick up a wristband from the Trinity Swing Registration desk and get ready for a fun filled evening!
6.00pm | Meet and Greet in Bernish. This will be with Vicky, your social lead, who will take you through a rundown of the weekend. This is your chance to meet your fellow Zero to Hero friends, get the nervous jitters out and ask all the questions in the world (no such thing as a silly question).
7.00pm - 8.50pm | Icebreaker Session with Lee and Vicky in Bernish.
8.50pm | Time to drink, catch up or practice in Bernish! Vicky will be there with you if you fancy a chat/catch-up or just have any questions and you’ll have the bar there if you fancy a well-deserved drink after your first session! You’ve also got the room so you can practice what you’ve learned so far (if you wish). This will be a chilled-out space, with some music playing in the background, so you can practice your triple steps and warm up for this evening!
9.30pm | Time to get inspired! Watch the All Ireland J&J Competitions. This is where anyone can draw anyone, regardless of what level they compete at. Grab a comfy spot and watch the magic happen!
10.00pm | Teacher Introduction | This will happen in the same room, straight after the competitions, and is worth a watch!
You choose your bedtime! We’ll be dancing until 3am but don’t feel you have stay up too late, you’ll want plenty of sleep as Saturday will be a big day for everyone at the event.
Saturday
10:00am - 10.45am | Are you an early bird? Join the other early risers at the event for some yoga and stretching, perfect to get your body ready for another exciting day!
11:00am - 1:15pm | Session 2 with Mathieu and Gráinne in Bernish.
1:30pm - 3.30pm | Break for Lunch.
3.30pm | Meet to Watch the Jack & Jill Competitions. The Zero to Hero team will be competing across the divisions. You are the cheering squad so make some noise for everyone! After comps, take a break to get some food, rest and come back for the evening party, performances, spotlight finals and the Pro J&J show.
8.30pm | Jack & Jill Finals. This will be EPIC so don’t miss the opportunity to watch these contests LIVE and in the flesh!
10.30pm | Pro J&J show. This is one of the highlights of the event and well worth staying up for. The party will really get started after this. Just like Friday, you choose your bedtime! We’ll be dancing until 3am, but stay up as late as you feel comfortable doing.
Sunday
11.00am - 12.15pm | Session 3 with Sean & Alyssa and then James & Lauren in Bernish. We start putting the pieces of the puzzle together and help prepare you for Newcomer J&J later this afternoon. Fancy giving the competitions a go?
1:30pm - 2pm | Meet with Vicky, who will keep you posted on where to meet, for lunch, a catch-up about your sessions, comps and the weekend so far.
3.00pm | It’s time for the Newcomer Jack & Jill Prelim & Final, with the Zero to Hero team there as your cheering squad. Experience all the fun yourself! Awards are straight after competitions, so make sure you stick around, as you may have won yourself a prize… After comps and awards, you’ll meet with Vicky in Bernish to share some final thoughts and plan the next time we’ll all be meeting up or let you know the nearest WCS classes to you
5:30pm | Sightseeing and dinner in a traditional Irish Pub in Carlingford | Here is the perfect opportunity to not only experience what Ireland has to offer, but meet other people who are part of the community. Who can resist a traditional Irish pub?
9.00pm | Make sure to hang around for the last party of the event, it’s always the best one!
