WEEKLY CLASSES

We have been running regular West Coast Swing classes since 2012 and are grateful that we continue with a Beginner class and Improver class every Wednesday night in Belfast.

We have recently added a class in Bangor on Monday nights.

You do not have to come along with a partner! As West Coast Swing is a social dance, we rotate partners during the classes, so everyone gets a turn to dance with each other.

What to expect in the Beginner, Level 1 class.

The beginner level 1 class is suitable for those who are brand new to West Coast Swing or any kind of partner dance, as well as those who have maybe taken a break and want to freshen up their skills.

Each week we teach 2-3 of the basic patterns, how to lead/follow as well as timing to music and the structure of the dance.

The classes are designed so that you can start any week without having to know what was taught the previous week. After 6 weeks the cycle begins again, so you will never miss out.

The improver class is suitable for those who have completed at least 6 weeks of the level 1 class and are confident with their basics.

This class moves at a slightly faster pace and we start to really dig deeper into developing connection, pattern structure and most importantly, having fun.
